WHAT ARE THE ESSENTIAL NUTRIENTS:

Did you know the first two listed make up 88% of the plant? Absorbed as CO2, carbon and oxygen are the essential building blocks of any given plant. Yet as an industry we often times spends most of our budget, resources and time focusing on NPK, which in total make up roughly 6% of the plant.

Looking at "dervied from" labels

As an industry we often get caught up on the analysis and don't read much past that. At TSS we believe that the source of the fertilizer is just as if not more important than the analysis its self. In most cases, the derived from label tells a story far beyond the numbers. For instance, a grass plant absorbs nitrogen in only a few ways; Amino acids, proteins, nucleotides, nucleic acids, chlorophyll and co-enzymes. When looking at a nitrogen source, if its no derived from a similar form, your plant goes through a load of energy in order to convert the molecule into a digestible form for your plant.
